About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Scaffold Foreman (E&D Foreman 1) to guide job site execution in the Greater Birmingham, AL area. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or approved equivalent scaffolding experience.
Strong understanding of OSHA scaffolding regulations and various scaffold material systems and load limits.
High School Diploma/GED
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work comfortably at heights
Physical ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly.
Candidates must currently live in or around Greater Birmingham.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise a crew (or up to 3 lead carpenters and their teams) to safely erect and dismantle various types of complex scaffolding systems.
Serve as an active leader on site—working with your tools when needed while ensuring jobs are completed safely and on schedule.
Perform daily JSAs, safety plans, scaffold inspection checklists, delivery/pickup tickets, and extra work authorizations under the guidance of the Field Supervisor.
Coach and develop scaffold lead carpenters and helpers to help them hone their skills and grow within the company.
