About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an E/D Construction Manager to lead the entire E/D department, including multiple crews, in the building and dismantling of all forms of access solutions. This role requires the ability to complete paperwork for multiple jobsites, assist with bidding work, schedule crews, and possess a strong understanding of scaffolding and OSHA regulations. Competent person training is mandatory for this position. The Construction Manager will work in conjunction with the Project Manager on large projects and is responsible for managing, hiring, and recruiting labor crews, including coaching, training, and mentoring. They will oversee the day-to-day operations of labor crews and multiple jobsite supervisions, schedule labor crews for future work, and supervise/assist with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, as well as inventorying. The role involves coordinating timely pickups for dismantles and deliveries for erections, performing all necessary documentation (sign-offs, extra work authorizations, JSAs, safety plans, delivery/pickup tickets, etc.), and understanding all aspects of the business operation and markets. The Construction Manager must also understand and execute all safety regulations concerning their products, safe use, and safety of the facility and job sites. Other duties may be assigned by the Profit Center Manager, and oversight of the Foreman Training Program is expected.

College degree or trade school preferred
Minimum of 7 years scaffold experience or equivalent construction experience with degree or 8 years work experience in relatable industry
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Responsibilities
