About The Position

The Scaffold Builder Helper assists with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds and related auxiliary structures. The role includes identifying required tools and safety precautions, measuring and preparing materials, assisting with scaffold construction and dismantling, and cleaning work areas. The employee must be willing to assist other crafts when not actively working on scaffolding, follow company, site, and safety rules, and meet the physical requirements of the position.

Requirements

Must have 12–16 months of scaffold builder helper experience.
Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to work the full work schedule and any additional overtime.
Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.
Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
Must have all required tools.
Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Responsibilities

Identify all tools required for assigned tasks.
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
Measure, mark, and cut wooden or metallic materials to required specifications.
Assist with construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed scaffolds.
Assist with building and constructing wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
Clean up work areas.
Assist other crafts when not actively working on scaffolding.
