About The Position

Marathon Pipe Line (MPL) is hiring a SCADA Systems Analyst to support SCADA processes and operational technology infrastructure for MPL assets. The preferred location is Findlay, Ohio, with consideration also given to San Antonio, Texas. Travel is 10% or less, and a driver’s license is required. The role provides rotational 24x7 on-call support to the Operations Center.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or another related discipline.
Three years of relevant experience.
Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Design, edit, and build SCADA screens to support evolving operational needs.
Update the SCADA database with new or modified operational functions.
Perform point-to-point verification with field technicians to validate SCADA configurations.
Document control-environment changes in accordance with the Management of Change (MOC) process.
Assist field teams with control-system troubleshooting by providing timely SCADA data and insights.
Maintain SCADA infrastructure and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the MPL SCADA system.
Provide rotational 24x7 on-call support to the Operations Center.
Design, test, and implement custom programming in the SCADA environment to automate and control pipeline assets.
Develop and maintain robust interfaces to critical systems that use SCADA data for pipeline operations.
