About The Position

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of SCADA Programmer. The SCADA Programmer reports to the Utility Supervisor. The primary functions of this position include: Designing, programming, and maintaining SCADA system software applications across local, wide area, and wireless networks Providing network administration and technical support for SCADA-connected computer systems Managing SCADA reporting, SQL databases, Windows operating systems, and data backups Supporting and maintaining SCADA hardware and software, including third-party vendor platforms Troubleshooting and resolving issues across PLC, HMI, and related control systems. This is a full-time, exempt position, within Gilbert's at-will employment structure.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Two-Year Technical Certification
  • Five or more years of experience in system programming, networking, and database operations, including experience with a computerized monitoring system comparable to SCADA, HMI, or PLCs (or an equivalent combination of experience and training)
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License
  • ADEQ Grade I Water Distribution or Wastewater Collections Certification within one year of hire
  • Pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
