Reporting to the Director of Operations, the SCA Manger guides and directs the team of SCA Patient Advocates to help families navigate through the SCA (Single Case Agreement) process. The SCA Manager will also work with the SCA Utilization Review team and peers in Admissions, Operations, and Clinical departments to ensure that contracts are negotiated and brought to execution as efficiently as possible. The successful candidate will be sales-oriented with a strong sense of empathy. Requirements

  • The SCA Manager requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in admissions or inside sales, preferably in the ABA or ASD service industry.
  • 2+ years prior Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of the single case agreement process and insurance regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in negotiation and advocacy on behalf of clients.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ABA therapy principles and practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct morning pipeline meetings with Admissions, Clinics, and Diagnostics teams.
  • Oversee and manage the ABA Connect pipeline, including assigning, reviewing, and closing tickets, and monitoring cases on hold.
  • Manage Early Codes including extending codes and resolving system-related issues within our system of record
  • Provide real-time support to team members by answering questions and offering guidance.
  • Respond to SCA-related inquiries via email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Monitor and ensure timely execution of priority tasks and ticket updates.
  • Review and QA caregiver coaching and INN vetting phone calls.
  • Track and report daily Early Code replacements to the UR team.
  • Approve biweekly timecards for all direct reports.
  • Manage and approve PTO, late arrivals, and early leave requests.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with each team member.
  • Participate in biweekly reauthorization meetings with clinics.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and effective advocacy for our clients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance expertise in the ABA and ASD fields.
  • Train and mentor, the SCA team in providing the necessary education to potential clients on our philosophy and treatment plans to motivate qualified clients to engage in the SCA process.
