About The Position

The SCA Claims Processor I codes and processes claim forms and manually reviews Medicare Part B professional claims. The role resolves edits and audits to ensure suspended claims are adjudicated accurately and on time, verifies that required information is present before eligible payments are made, and researches and analyzes claims issues. The position works under direct supervision, with instruction, guidance, and direction from others.

The role is primarily virtual, with required in-person training sessions. Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of an office unless an accommodation is granted. For applicants working in person or virtually in New York or Massachusetts, the stated non-negotiable hourly rate is $17.75.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• For foreign national applicants, meet the Wellpoint Federal residency requirement of living in the United States for at least three of the past five years.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
