SC Caregiver
About The Position
Our mission is to provide home care with love; to enhance quality of life through attentive, respectful care; and to help clients maintain dignity and independence in their own homes. After all, it is their home. We are hiring PCAs and Caregivers for full-time or part-time work - you choose: short shifts, long shifts, overnights, and weekends. We're looking for caregivers who can support clients in a professional, compassionate way. You should be patient, friendly, and able to follow instructions while performing a variety of tasks that help clients stay safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Guardian Angel Senior Services provides a range of services to elderly and disabled clients, from light household help and quick errands to hands-on personal care. Depending on the client, tasks may include: Providing companionship and conversation, Running errands and assisting with shopping, Light housekeeping and home organization, Medication reminders, Hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, toileting, Supporting overall health and well‑being. You'll also have a say in which clients you work with.

Responsibilities
- Assist with shopping and errands
- Report any unusual incidents
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be a pleasant, supportive companion
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Plan and prepare meals with client input
- Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home
- Meal prep and basic cooking
- Vacuuming, dusting, dry and wet mopping
- Cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, taking out trash
- Cleaning and wiping bathroom surfaces
- Changing bed linens, doing laundry, folding clothes
- Personal care and hygiene (bathing, skin care, foot care)
- Feeding support, nutrition, grooming
- Transfers and incontinent care
