Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.
2 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
4 years of relevant experience preferred
Purchasing/Manufacturing/Forecasting/Sourcing/International experience preferred
Medical Device experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
BI/BW or similar software experience preferred
Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Reviews MRP outputs weekly to ensure all required actions are taken – planned orders, expedites, de-expedites, cancels, etc.
Limits backorders of all assigned parts while communicating backorder information to internal departments.
Maintains and reviews Forecast vs. Actual sales for assigned products.
Attends weekly conference calls with key suppliers.
Distributes Engineering Change Requests to each supplier and reviews disposition of existing and in-process products. Attends meetings to discuss the necessary action required and the cost associated with these actions.
Discusses defective goods with inspection or quality control personnel, suppliers and others to determine the origin and take corrective action.
Coordinates non-critical new product launch activities as assigned by management.
Responsible for remote Purchasing/Planning at off-site locations.
Analyzes slow moving inventory and attends meetings with the individual teams to determine disposition.
Ensures item costing is fair and reasonable. Works with each supplier to reduce costs while still maintaining quality and deliveries.
Responsible for all PO receipts of non-inventoried goods, invoice approval, MRO and credit card purchases.
