OVERVIEW This role is responsible for leading operational improvement projects, driving Lean initiatives, supporting production operations, and managing cross-functional manufacturing projects throughout DMI Companies. Strong emphasis is placed on project management, execution, accountability, operational support, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related fields of study.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
  • Project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, MES, or MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational and manufacturing improvement projects.
  • Manage project timelines, accountability, and communication.
  • Support production leadership with execution of operational initiatives.
  • Conduct process reviews, time studies, and workflow analysis.
  • Support WMS, ERP, MES, and MRP implementation initiatives.
  • Monitor KPI performance metrics and operational reporting.
  • Create standard work documentation and process procedures.
  • Lead Kaizen, 6S, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support warehouse and material flow optimization projects.
  • Train supervisors and crew leaders on Lean and operational best practices.
  • Support cost reduction and productivity improvement efforts.
  • Conduct audits related to process compliance, quality, and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist leadership with operational problem solving and execution.
