Banesco USA is seeking an SBA Reporting Specialist for our SBA Operations business unit.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or another acceptable alternative field required.
Minimum of two (2) years of loan operations or accounting experience required.
Extensive knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management.
Ability to communicate effectively with all internal business partners and external customers.
Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform independently in setting objectives and determining how to proceed.
Prove analytic and critical thinking skills
Advanced understanding of commercial loan structures.
Ability to research complex issues.
Working knowledge of federal and state compliance laws and regulations including a proven ability to apply these requirements to business practices and systems.
Strong client-centric skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
Strong understanding of banking regulations and risk management frameworks.
Nice To Haves
Knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedure preferred.
Responsibilities
Review general ledger entries daily and clear transactions timely.
Assist in preparing monthly reporting.
Prepare monthly investor reporting and remit funds timely.
Complete loan reconciliations between the SBA and bank and clear exceptions timely.
Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
