About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an SBA Lending Support Manager to provide closing support to lenders and affiliated partners by coordinating, documenting, and facilitating the successful closing of complex SBA loans. This role ensures full compliance with Bank policies, SBA requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The manager will resolve closing-related issues and escalations, proactively communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, and prepare and deliver final closing packages in a timely and accurate manner. The position also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement and performing additional duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Requires a college degree and 2+ years' experience in loan operations, credit analysis and SBA loan closing, or other directly related experience.
  • Requires considerable working knowledge of SBA lending operations, processing, documentation, credit analysis, loan processes and procedures including 504 loans, laws and regulations.
  • Requires working knowledge of related fields including banking, lending, and credit administration.
  • Strong analysis and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide closing support to lenders and affiliated partners by coordinating, documenting, and facilitating the successful closing of complex SBA loans.
  • Ensure full compliance with Bank policies, SBA requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Resolve closing-related issues and escalations, while proactively communicating with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure clarity and timely execution.
  • Prepare and deliver final closing packages in a timely and accurate manner, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
