About The Position

Sawyer Company: PRO Pallet LLC Location: York, PA Pay: $15.00 per hour Objective: We are looking for a Sawyer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job Set stops or guides to specified lengths Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy Use accuracy when measuring and cutting boards and runners from spec sheets Check cuts before starting and during the course of the run to ensure accuracy Changing blades as they become dull using all safety measures Stack all outgoing material neatly in bunks provided Ensure all bunks removed are properly marked by size of lumber Accurately complete paperwork Job Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to stand for the full shift Able to use or learn to use a nail gun and read a tape measure Works well with others Self-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical job Reliable and shows up to work on time Why This Job: On-the-job training provided Opportunity to grow within the company Team-focused work environment Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM Occasional voluntary overtime Apply Today!
