About The Position

The Saw Shop Associate operates cutting saws and processes material requests as required by manufacturing. ANCORP recognizes two levels of skills and experience which are outline below. Essential Functions LEVEL I Operate automated and manual metal cutting saws. Cut raw material to length for manufacturing per specification and/or work order. Measures work to verify conformance to specifications. Deburring, and rinsing of cut products. Maintains coolant levels for adequate cutting performance. Monitors saw performance and blade life. Transfer cut raw material to manufacturing. Communication with manufacturing, quality, supervision, and management. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High school diploma, GED and/or Technical School Graduate or industry recognized certification.
• Must have basic math/trigonometry skills.
• Able to read, write, and have a working knowledge of English.
• A knowledge of technical drawings is required.
• Capability to read tape measures, steel rulers and essential measurement equipment required for position.
