About The Position
This role involves assisting the Saw Shop Supervisor with active work requests and operating saw cutting machinery. The assistant will be responsible for setting up and operating saws to cut various materials.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
- Must be able to read and understand work orders, drawings, and other written instructions
- Must have knowledge of metal cutting characteristics of various types of materials
