About The Position

The Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining saw equipment to optimize performance and safety. Ultimately, this role supports the production team by delivering precise components that meet design specifications and contribute to the successful completion of manufacturing projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating saw machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools and ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
  • Precision measurement and blueprint reading skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor saw machinery to cut materials according to specified measurements and blueprints.
  • Set up saw equipment, including blade selection, alignment, and calibration to ensure accurate cuts.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished cuts for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw equipment to maintain optimal functionality and safety.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the maintenance team promptly.
