About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Saw Operator Team Member. This position starts at $22.00 per hour, with a pay increase to $24.00 per hour after completed training. The Saw Cutter/Meat Cutter role requires the ability to make precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting skills, and modify or create programs based on equipment, product, and customer needs. Associates in this role serve as the last quality checkpoint before the product reaches the customer. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential. Must be able to perform all job functions safely in accordance with food safety, GMP's, and quality standards. This role requires consistent attendance, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cold temperatures (35 degrees), a noisy environment, and a wet, damp, cold, no-kill food processing environment. Strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, adaptability, and dependability are essential. Team members must be able to follow direction and work cooperatively with others, and will be expected to stand for most of the shift.
