About The Position

This position is 2nd Shift - scheduled Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am. The role involves assisting with manufacturing processes in the shop, including but not limited to Saw, porting, honing, and polishing. The Saw Operator / Material Handler will also assist manufacturing by providing materials to and from all work centers. The primary objectives include responsibility for the quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner, keeping manufacturing supplied with necessary materials, and ensuring daily manufacturing adheres to the quality management system.

Requirements

• Ability to setup and run various machine tools
• Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing of parts
• Inspection of parts
• Following safety procedures
• Moving of WIP material throughout the facility
• Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
