About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a saw to cut raw material for the production shop. The role involves recording important job information, applying color codes to materials, maintaining the saw and work area, and operating an industrial lift truck. Adherence to safety standards is crucial. The job also includes various supporting tasks such as managing chip bins, coolant tanks, performing incoming inspections, organizing materials, and coordinating components for production jobs. A strong understanding of basic math, material identification, and company part numbers is required.

Requirements

• Empty chip bins when needed.
• Move coolant tanks for filling.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Organize and inventory stored materials.
• Coordinate, gather, and transport necessary components for production jobs.
• The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Familiarity with Hunting Titan part numbers, color codes, and the ability to recognize material by inside/outside diameters and lengths quickly.
• Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license requirements.
• Authorized to work in United States.
• Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Saw raw material for the production shop.
• Record the purchase order and heat treat numbers on the job pick list.
• Apply the correct color code to the material.
• Clean and maintain the saw and surrounding area.
• Operates industrial lift truck to move material from staging area throughout plant as needed.
• Adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
