Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce. We are looking for a Saw Attendant to help keep production running smoothly by cutting and supplying raw materials to applicable work areas. This role is an important part of the manufacturing process and offers the opportunity to cross-train in other areas, including learning machining processes. Shift: 1st, Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, receiving, or material handling is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in other areas of production.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A quick learner who is always ready to gain depth of knowledge in manufacturing processes
  • A reliable individual who knows the importance of showing up when it counts
  • Someone who accept assignments with an open, cooperative, positive and team-oriented approach
  • Someone who is able to plan and execute plans across teams
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Issue raw materials, including castings, forgings, and bar stock, to the appropriate work orders.
  • Complete saw work to support production schedules and ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required cycle counts.
  • Cross-train in other manufacturing areas as needed, which may include learning machining operations and using inspection equipment.
  • Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
