Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a sauté cook or in a similar line cook position.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, especially sautéing.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all menu items assigned to the sauté station in accordance with recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
  • Operate sauté pans, burners, and other kitchen equipment with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized station at all times.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure top-tier execution.
  • Communicate clearly with other line cooks, prep cooks, and chefs to coordinate service.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and kitchen cleaning as needed.
  • Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
