Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The processing technician will work as part of a team for receiving the hardware, processing satellites into the cleanroom, perform electrical test validation and battery charging, and other movements of the spacecraft and ground support equipment through the workzone. The satellite receiving and movement operations involve the use of tools and equipment like overhead cranes, electric pallet-jacks, and forklifts. This individual with work closely with their peers and lead, engineers, and other cross-functional organizations. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a highly technical, fast-paced, and collaborative setting; is able to follow technical work instructions; and support the team through processing operations.
