About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Satellite Mission Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to work our Colorado Springs, CO - Schriever AFB location. You will be joining the Death Valley Program as an on-site Ground Controller (GC) of a ground network. This is a shift-work position, and requires the ability to work any shift as required. This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Experience in operation of command and control (C2) ground systems related to satellite operations.
Ability to support 24/7, 365 operations.
Active top Secret clearance required for consideration.
Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
Ground station communications, configuration, operation, and/or fault isolation experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be an effective communicator with strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Utilize your strong problem solving, and communication skills focused on supporting 24/7 operations.
Interact with users, engineering support, crew and management personnel as needed.
Monitor crew logs for situational awareness.
Maintain crew logs for activities that happen on shift.
Contribute to procedural updates and procedure validation as needed.
