About The Position

We are seeking tech-savvy problem solvers with a passion for excellent customer service to join our team as Independent Contractors for Satellite Installation. In this role, you will be responsible for installing satellite internet systems at customer locations, mounting dishes, running cables, configuring equipment, and ensuring everything is working smoothly. You will also provide top-notch customer service, educate customers on their new systems, and troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
• Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
• Skilled with hand tools and network installation
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Great communication abilities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ladder capable of 3 stories
• Tools for facilitating a Starlink install
• Ability to climb on roofs
• Carry your own liability insurance
• Be authorized to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus
• Cisco routers a plus!

Responsibilities

• Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
• Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
• Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
• Configure and program satellite receivers
• Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything’s working smoothly
• Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
