About The Position

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the definition, design, integration, and validation of complex satellite systems. Acting as a technical focal point, this role ensures that mission requirements are translated into effective engineering solutions and that all subsystems operate together as an integrated system to achieve performance, quality, and reliability objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in systems engineering applied to complex products or systems, in the space sector
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements management, and product development processes
  • Experience with system integration, verification, and validation activities
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and system modeling tools
  • Experience managing technical interfaces and coordinating activities across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical environments
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define, analyze, and manage system requirements while ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Translate mission objectives into system-level and subsystem-level technical requirements
  • Support the development of satellite architectures and the definition of interfaces between subsystems
  • Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for various system components
  • Perform technical analyses, feasibility studies, and trade-off assessments to support engineering decisions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system requirements, interfaces, and performance
  • Evaluate design solutions and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with established requirements
  • Participate in system integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities
  • Support operational readiness, commissioning, and operational activities as required
  • Contribute to technical risk management, problem resolution, and anomaly investigations
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations throughout the system development lifecycle
