About The Position

Work as an integral part of a dynamic team conducting critical intelligence collection operations with advanced collection systems. This operations team received one of the Intelligence Community's highest awards and was recognized as Team of the Year by Leidos. The Satellite Analyst role is a critical position within this team.

Requirements

Must possess a current/active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of recent IC/DoW experience working on a small team performing responsibilities comparable to those described above.
High level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
Proven ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail in faced-paced environments.
Collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to brief and communicate with all levels of customer management.

Nice To Haves

Degree in engineering or related STEM field.
Working knowledge of Satellite Toolkit (STK).
Ability to document, troubleshoot, and clearly communicate potential modifications to custom software packages to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

Research intelligence databases, assemble, analyze and brief information in order to maintain accurate and timely tracking of satellites of interest, in coordination with community partners.
Analyze changes to the threat environment, and craft/disseminate tailored critical and time-sensitive information to support customer objectives.
Generate and disseminate standardized custom products on a regular basis to all elements of the team.
Analyze, process, and correct inaccuracies in large datasets of analytical reporting.
Work closely with all supported customer offices, often being one of the few team members to do so regularly.
This position requires some off nominal work hours to include possible weekend hours.
Potential for short duration travel within CONUS.
