About The Position

Genie Academy helps students unlock their full potential by fixing the "missing bricks" in their foundation. Our mission is to ensure every student thrives -- not just passes. We offer programs in Math, Reading, Writing, and Coding, all built on a structured, proven curriculum that produces results. We're looking for experienced SAT Tutors for Math and/or Reading & Writing who are passionate about helping students reach their college goals. You'll teach small groups of 3-6 students using Genie Academy's curriculum and lesson plans -- so no lesson planning is required. You'll just focus on learning our methods and delivering engaging, effective instruction. This is a part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule. Tutors must be available for the full SAT class cycle to ensure continuity for students.

Requirements

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing.
• Strong understanding of current SAT question types and scoring.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to schedule consistency.
• Bachelor's degree (or current enrollment in college).

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching both Math and Reading/Writing sections.
• Familiarity with structured enrichment programs or test prep centers.

Responsibilities

• Teach SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing using Genie Academy's curriculum.
• Manage small group classes of 3-6 students.
• Ensure students understand both concepts and test-taking strategies.
• Track progress and communicate results to students and parents.
• Maintain consistency and punctuality throughout each program cycle.
• Attend periodic training to stay aligned with Genie Academy standards.
