About The Position
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT Chapter, Millburn, NJ) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. This is a contract position with compensation ranging from $50-$60 per hour. Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes long, regular, and reliable, generally scheduled between 2 PM and 8 PM EST during the week and between 10 AM - 4 PM on weekend days. Tutors will provide in-person tutoring at an established local learning center.
Requirements
- 4-12 hours per week of availability.
- Earned Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT.
- Strong past test scores.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A passion for helping others learn.
- Submit a resume which highlights the subjects you tutor and the length of time you have been tutoring (or teaching) in a paid capacity.
