Join a mission-focused effort supporting AI assurance and accreditation within GEOINT. Supporting NGA’s Assurance and Governance (QA) office and the Accreditation of AI Models (AGAIM) program, this role contributes to the evaluation of AI and machine learning models by applying foundational Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) exploitation skills to operational imagery and analytic workflows. As a SAR Imagery Analyst / Scientist, you will support analytic activities focused on preparing, processing, and assessing SAR datasets used for AI model testing. You will work within established methodologies to help ensure data quality, GEOINT compliance, and consistency across evaluation workflows that support mission objectives. In this role, you will apply structured analytic techniques to identify discrepancies in model outputs, validate detections against SAR imagery, and assist in evaluating detection accuracy and data reliability. You will also contribute to multi-INT analysis efforts by leveraging structured and unstructured data to support broader GEOINT understanding. This position operates at a mid-level within the analytic team, working with minimal oversight while still following established processes and technical guidance. You will collaborate closely with senior team members and Government stakeholders, contributing to the refinement of analytic methods and supporting improvements to SAR-based AI evaluation workflows. If you are a developing SAR analyst or imagery professional looking to grow your expertise in AI/ML-driven GEOINT applications, this role provides a pathway to advance your technical skills and contribute to meaningful mission outcomes.
