About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead SAP upgrade initiatives (e.g., ECC or S/4HANA version upgrades, SPS/FPS, enhancement packs) for existing SAP landscapes. This role focuses on technical and functional upgrades, not new SAP implementations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP project management experience, with direct ownership of SAP upgrades
• Strong understanding of SAP upgrade cycles (S/4HANA, ECC, SPS/FPS, technical upgrades)
• Experience working with distributed teams in nearshore/offshore (LATAM) delivery models
• Solid background in cutover planning, testing coordination, and defect management
• SAP experience required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., life sciences, SOX, GxP)
• Familiarity with SAP AMS or post-upgrade support transitions

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage end-to-end SAP upgrade projects, including preparation, execution, testing, and cutover
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Basis, Functional, ABAP, Security, Testing) across onshore/offshore models
• Manage upgrade timelines, risks, dependencies, and change freezes
• Drive stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updates
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, release management, and validation requirements
