About The Position

VersaFile is a fast-growing software company specializing in attachment and data archiving solutions for SAP, SuccessFactors, and other Enterprise Software applications. We are seeking a versatile SAP Technical Specialist to join our team, playing a critical role in customer success and product excellence. This role involves product implementation, solution customization within the SAP framework, automation of business processes, contribution to product development, and delivering compelling sales demos. It's a highly collaborative and customer-facing position combining deep SAP technical skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in SAP technical roles (ABAP, ABAP Cloud, Workflow, BTP, SuccessFactors or other related areas).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ArchiveLink, SAP ILM, or SAP DMS integrations is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., OpenText, SharePoint, or other ECM platforms).
  • Experience with SAP customization, enhancements, and BADI/user exits.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable presenting to clients, both virtually and in person.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 or integration with web-based applications.
  • Background in pre-sales engineering or solution consulting.
  • Exposure to cloud-based archiving and storage platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical aspects of product implementation for customers using SAP S/4HANA and/or SuccessFactors.
  • Customize and configure SAP systems to support integration with our document archiving solution.
  • Work with product development to provide feature and design inputs as well as help with actual feature development.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and internal developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver successful deployments.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle, delivering tailored and impactful demos to prospective clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
  • Provide feedback to the product and development teams to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, demo scripts, and implementation playbooks.
