About The Position

CTG is hiring a SAP Technical Architect – HANA & Cloud for a client in Chicago, Illinois. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP HANA infrastructure, Basis components, and enterprise SAP landscapes. The architect defines platform architecture, technical standards, and technology roadmaps in alignment with business requirements, and leads migrations, upgrades, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives. The position also designs and manages SAP integrations, application infrastructure, and cloud architectures across platforms. It ensures SAP environments meet performance, availability, scalability, security, and compliance requirements, supports SAP applications and their infrastructure interfaces, and collaborates with functional, Basis, infrastructure, security, and application teams. The architect evaluates SAP technologies and cloud solutions to improve reliability and operational efficiency. This is an eight-month position. The expected base salary is $48.00–$50.00 per hour. CTG states that a competitive benefit package is offered. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required; relevant SAP or cloud architecture certifications are preferred.

Requirements

Strong expertise in SAP HANA, SAP Basis administration, and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
Experience with SAP ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, and HCM environments.
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), SAP ASE, and SQL.
Experience designing SAP cloud architectures on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other hyperscale cloud platforms.
Knowledge of SAP LeanIX and enterprise architecture design.
Strong understanding of cloud migration, system integration, infrastructure design, security, performance tuning, and high availability.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Demonstrated experience designing and supporting complex SAP technical architectures and HANA environments.
Experience leading SAP migrations, upgrades, cloud implementations, and platform modernization initiatives.
Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and highly available SAP landscapes across on-premises and cloud environments.
Experience integrating SAP applications with enterprise infrastructure and related systems.
Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to develop solutions that meet organizational requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
