About The Position

The SAP Supply Chain Master Data Senior Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and deletion of Material Master Data within the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of business data by applying established data standards, rules, policies, and procedures during all data maintenance activities. The specialist partners closely with business and cross functional stakeholders to identify process improvements, support data quality initiatives, and maintain high-quality Material Master Data across Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Creation, maintenance, and deletion of Material Master Data within the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of business data by applying established data standards, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Partners closely with business and cross functional stakeholders to identify process improvements, support data quality initiatives, and maintain high-quality Material Master Data across Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.
  • High level of speed and accuracy in complex data entry in SAP and other systems.
  • Ability to gather data from content owner and transfer data into a standard format for SAP-based ERP system.
  • Understanding of business data standards, policies and procedures and ability to apply them appropriately to data.
  • Interaction with Master Data Lead, fellow Stewards, and stakeholders across Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams.
  • Ability to lead audits for compliance and improvement.
  • Conduct investigations to address stakeholder complaints.
  • Use of specialized knowledge to assist customers in resolving problems.
  • Ability to originate and improve technical documents and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain credibility with stakeholders and co-workers.
  • Make decisions as necessary to meet team and individual performance objectives with a continual improvement in performance.
  • Identify alternatives to existing job tasks or processes and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Study best practices that can be applied to improve work tasks and processes.
  • Demonstrate self-reflection and solicit feedback from others regarding performance.
  • Perform data cleansing, normalization, and standardization using SAP tools and complementary data‑quality utilities.
  • Execute data validation checks to identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing attributes, ensuring high‑quality Material Master data.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (with an emphasis in Operations, Analytics, or Information Systems), Data Management / Data Analytics / Information Management, or Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities
