About The Position

Join our dynamic SAP support team as a SAP Senior Specialist MM for S4 Hana, where you will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our SAP landscape. As a seasoned professional, you'll leverage your expertise in Materials Management to ensure the smooth functioning of SAP systems, troubleshoot issues, resolving tickets promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

IT /Business Degree or Equivalent
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in a comparable SAP role (ECC 6 / S4 HANA) with hands-on application management.
Understanding of technical environment of the business application(s) concerned
Excellent English (verbal and written)
Knowledge of basic project and change management procedures within IT
Proven track record of extensive and senior-level experience in SAP, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Materials Management (MM)—including purchasing, procurement, and inventory management—with a history of delivering high-impact solutions in a senior capacity.
Strong candidates will have knowledge and experience with three or more of the following SAP areas: procurement, inventory/warehouse management, production planning, sales operations, logistics, finance, and controlling.
Hands-on experience supporting SAP Ariba solutions, including Buying and Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLP), Sourcing, Catalog Management, and integrations with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA
Experience supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), warehouse operations, inventory management, and processes
Strong continuous-improvement mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP MM issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Integration experience connecting SAP with other business systems—such as supplier portals, warehouse management solutions, or MES systems—and experience working with integration tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a discrete manufacturing and/or automotive environment is preferred
SAP & ITIL Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance in SAP MM solutions, focusing on purchasing, inventory/warehouse management, and related integrations.
Take ownership of ticket resolution, applying strong problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Finance, Production Planning, and Logistics) to resolve SAP-related incidents and problems promptly.
Provide expert guidance and support for SAP Ariba solutions, while troubleshooting and resolving incidents, interface issues, and transactional errors to ensure timely and effective ticket resolution.
Provide functional expertise and support for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), including inbound processing, outbound processing, inventory management, warehouse monitoring, and RF/mobile warehouse operations.
Perform system analysis, design, and enhancements to meet business requirements across procurement, goods movements, and inventory processes.
Conduct regular system audits and data integrity checks to ensure optimal performance while utilizing SAP best practices.
Lead initiatives for SAP system upgrades and enhancements, considering dependencies with other modules such as FI/CO, PP, and SD.
Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
Guide the evaluation, selection, and configuration of procure-to-pay solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Support and maintain a clean-core initiative by leveraging SAP standard functionality and best practices.
Implement preventive measures within SAP support processes to enhance stability and optimize supply chain operations.
Travel regionally or globally as required.
