About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with a strong functional background and proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA transformations. This is a customer-facing, onshore role requiring deep engagement across solution design, delivery, and pre-sales. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, drive end-to-end SAP solutions, and play a key role in shaping transformation programs for enterprise clients.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of SAP experience with strong functional background.
  • 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect.
  • Hands-on experience in multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid).
  • Deep expertise in at least one core functional domain (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) with cross-module integration knowledge.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and client presentations.
  • Strong understanding of: SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP Fiori & UX strategy, Integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Experience working in customer-facing, onshore roles in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industries such as CPG, Manufacturing, Retail, or Pharma.
  • Familiarity with RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and cloud transformations.
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA or relevant modules.
  • Experience with Agile / Activate methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture across functional domains (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated SAP solutions.
  • Define target architecture, roadmap, and transformation strategy.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership across implementation, migration (ECC to S/4HANA), and rollout programs.
  • Act as a functional SME across one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  • Drive fit-gap analysis, process re-engineering, and solution design workshops.
  • Ensure business process optimization leveraging S/4HANA capabilities (Fiori, Embedded Analytics, etc.).
  • Support pre-sales activities, including: Solutioning and proposal development, Effort estimation and pricing models, Client presentations, demos, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to shape deals and win new business.
  • Provide thought leadership on digital transformation and SAP roadmaps.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead executive-level discussions and workshops.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, innovation, and future-state architecture.
  • Define and enforce architecture governance and standards.
  • Mentor and guide offshore/onshore teams.
  • Ensure quality delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets.
