About The Position

This role requires a highly experienced SAP Senior Developer/Consulting Director with a strong background in ABAP solution architecting and SAP ECC FI Module. The position involves complex problem-solving, design, and development within the SAP ecosystem, with a particular focus on the Public Sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and potentially managing projects. The role emphasizes object-oriented programming and leveraging various SAP technologies. The contractor will need to provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or 10+ years of equivalent experience
• 10+ years of ABAP solution architecting experience, including ABAP software analysis, design, and development
• 10+ years of experience with the SAP ECC FI Module
• 10+ years of experience with SAP Web Application Server, employing object-oriented programming concepts, ABAP Unit, Shared Memory Objects, ABAP Objects for custom reports and dialog programs, ABAP Web Dynpro applications, BAPI/RFC, and the SAP Enhancement Framework using ABAP Workbench
• 10+ years of practical experience with upgrades, OSS Notes, Support Packs, and troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience with SAP XI/PI (Process Integration), including knowledge of EDI and ACH processes
• 5+ years of experience with SAP WEB AS
• 5+ years of experience with SAP in the Public Sector

Nice To Haves

• Public Sector SAP ABAP development for WRICEF objects in ECC 6.0, SRM, and BW
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
• Project Management (PM) experience
