About The Position

Our objective is to help clients leverage SAP technology to transform and optimize sales performance, incentive compensation, and revenue operations. We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales Performance Management (SPM) Manager with expertise in leading SPM transformation initiatives, incentive compensation programs, and enterprise technology implementations. As a Project Manager in Sales Performance Management (SPM), you will lead large-scale SPM transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong techno-functional leader with expertise in business requirements gathering, project management, and enterprise delivery across global teams, along with functional knowledge of SAP SPM and related incentive compensation solutions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Typically, no less than 4 to 6 years of experience delivering SAP transformation programs, with at least 4 years in a solution lead, workstream lead, or project leadership capacity.
  • Experience leading Sales Performance Management (SPM), Incentive Compensation Management, Commission Management, or Sales Compensation transformation implementations.
  • Strong expertise in SAP SPM and/or related SPM platforms such as Varicent, Anaplan, Xactly, or similar solutions.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional global teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP Best Practices, Clean Core principles, and modern SAP implementation methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience managing SAP projects or workstreams and project-based team members.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

  • Prior consulting experience.
  • SAP certification(s).
  • Experience with at least two full cycle implementations of your core module.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of SPM platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global delivery centers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP SPM programs across planning, execution, deployment, and stabilization phases.
  • Manage global onshore and offshore teams while driving program governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, conduct fit-gap analyses, and define solution roadmaps.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Oversee SAP SPM implementations, integrations, enhancements, and data migration activities.
  • Define and manage testing strategies, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and deployment readiness.
  • Engage senior business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Support innovation initiatives, including AI-driven analytics, automation, and process optimization.
  • Partner with sales operations, finance, and business stakeholders to align incentive compensation and sales performance requirements with enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, Clean Core principles, and implementation methodologies.
  • Drive quality, risk management, and delivery excellence throughout the program lifecycle.
