The Senior SAP Order Management Functional Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including sales documents, deliveries, billing, and integrated order-to-cash operations. This role demands deep functional expertise in SD configuration, master data, reporting, and complex pricing structures. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support process design, testing, operations, and enhancements across multiple integrated SAP modules. Key activities include leading requirement-gathering sessions, developing scalable functional solutions, managing testing cycles, and supporting ongoing improvements. Additionally, the consultant will provide leadership to junior team members and contribute to planning, staffing, forecasting, and work management for the order management workstream.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of SAP Order Management experience
  • Proven team lead experience
  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
  • Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Secret Clearance
  • Must live locally in St. Louis, MO or be willing to travel to St. Louis weekly

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in SAP SD covering configuration, master data, pricing, and reporting
  • Support creation and maintenance of sales documents, deliveries, billing, and related SD transactions
  • Design and maintain pricing components including condition tables, condition types, access sequences, pricing procedures, chargeback, and rebates
  • Support ATP processes including back order processing, production allocation, and order scheduling
  • Develop test strategies and manage large, complex testing cycles
  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, BASIS, Middleware, Portal teams, and business analysts to ensure alignment across the solution
  • Support budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to support skill development and knowledge transfer
