About The Position

This is a remote contract position based offshore in India, requiring the consultant to be available within 30 days of an offer. The role involves working Indian working hours with some overlap with US ET for daily handoffs. The consultant will be responsible for creating complex dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using Power BI and SAP SAC, integrating data from various SAP sources and SQL, developing planning models, gathering requirements, and optimizing performance.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI and SAP SAC
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, DAX
• Understanding of financial modeling and planning processes
• Typically 5+ years in data analysis, BI development, or a similar role

Nice To Haves

• SAP-specific technologies (HANA, BW, Web Intelligence)

Responsibilities

• Create complex dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using Power BI and SAP SAC
• Connect, import, and model data from SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SQL sources
• Develop PowerBI planning models and Advanced Formulas for financial or operational planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Optimize dashboard performance, manage data pipelines, and maintain report stability
