About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP SAC Planning Solution Architect with a minimum of 12 years of experience, including 6-7 years specifically in Financial Planning using SAC Planning and BPC Planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and a proven track record as a Solution Architect, having completed at least 3-4 financial planning projects using SAC Planning or BPC Planning. This role requires hands-on expertise in SAC Planning, including data modeling, dataset preparation, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculations, grouping, value formatting, and data wrangling. A deep knowledge of core SAC planning features is essential, encompassing Dimensions, Planning models (New Model and Classic account model), formulas & calculations, Input layouts, stories, Analytics Designer, Data Actions (Copy, Cross model copy, Advanced formula), Multi actions, Allocations, distribution, Predictive planning, Value driver tree, Currency translation, Validation rules, Calendar (Workflow organization), and security concepts (MDP & DACe).

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of total experience.
• 6-7 years of experience in Financial Planning (SAC Planning & BPC Planning).
• Good understanding of financial concepts.
• Proven experience in the role of Solution Architect.
• Experience in Financial Planning using SAC Planning (Primary) or BPC Planning.
• Completed at least 3-4 projects in Financial Planning using planning tools.
• Hands-on knowledge on SAC Planning (data modelling, preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculation, grouping, formatting values and data wrangling).
• Knowledge of core SAC planning features like Dimensions, Planning models (New Model and Classic account model), formulas & calculations, Input layouts, stories, Analytics Designer, Data Actions(Copy, Cross model copy, Advanced formula), Multi actions, Allocations, distribution, Predictive planning, Value driver tree, Currency translation, Validation rules, Calendar (Workflow organization), security concept (MDP & DACe).

Responsibilities

• Act as a Solution Architect for SAP SAC Planning projects.
• Design and implement financial planning solutions using SAC Planning and BPC Planning.
• Perform data modeling, dataset preparation, merging, appending, and custom hierarchy creation in SAC Planning.
• Develop custom calculations, groupings, and format values within SAC Planning.
• Utilize data wrangling techniques in SAC Planning.
• Configure and utilize core SAC planning features including Dimensions, Planning models, formulas, calculations, and Input layouts.
• Develop and manage stories and Analytics Designer applications.
• Implement Data Actions (Copy, Cross model copy, Advanced formula) and Multi actions.
• Configure Allocations and distribution processes.
• Leverage Predictive planning, Value driver tree, and Currency translation functionalities.
• Set up Validation rules, Calendar for workflow organization, and security concepts (MDP & DACe).
