About The Position

Fluor is seeking a remote SAP S/4HANA Project Systems Integrator to join the Finance Business Process Integration (FBPI) team. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Project Financial Compliance, bridging functional and technical teams across various SAP modules. The company is undergoing a transformation to upgrade its SAP ECC 6.0 system to an S/4HANA private cloud platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, system implementation experience, and a passion for technology-driven solutions. This position is responsible for implementing and integrating changes related to the S/4HANA PS/SD/FI modules, addressing production issues, supporting new business initiatives, upgrades, policy changes, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • Eight (8) or more years of work-related experience in the Engineering & Construction (E&C) Industry.
  • Three (3) or more years of hands-on experience with S/4HANA – PS/SD/FI Modules.
  • Experience with Customer Invoicing.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience with Revenue Recognition specific to the E&C Industry.
  • Experience with Project Structures.
  • Experience with SAP Analytical Cloud (SAC) and Reporting.
  • Experience with Master Data – Company Codes, GL Accounts, Profit Centers etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge transfer regarding comparative insights between SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA PS/SD/FI modules, and potential work process changes.
  • Participate in S/4HANA detail design workshops focused on Project Financial Compliance.
  • Provide recommendations for project data conversion strategies from ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA.
  • Equate the current reporting landscape (ECC 6.0 and Business Warehouse) for project-based reporting into the S/4HANA Analytics Cloud.
  • Create and maintain end-user S/4HANA Desktop Procedures.
  • Provide End User Support.
  • Conduct Formal Education & Training for PBS Global Users.
  • Provide second-level customer support to analyze system issues/defects related to PS/SD/FI modules concerning Project Financial Compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts to troubleshoot issues/defects and align on technical solutions.
  • Implement system changes in accordance with IT change management policies and the integrated build schedule.
  • Host/facilitate discovery meetings with PBS in local offices to gather system change requirements, prepare documentation, determine build schedules, approve test plans, facilitate/perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and review/approve test results.
  • Evaluate, manage, and communicate the downstream impact of system changes to stakeholders, including organization change management, education, work process changes, UAT, security job role updates, training, cutover/go-live tasks, and post-implementation support.
  • Assist end users with error resolution in the current ECC 6.0 system.
  • Assist with current Project Month/Quarter Close work processes.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
