About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP RAR Functional Consultant (Aerospace & Defense) position for our client. This role is responsible for implementing and configuring SAP HANA FIN FI solutions for clients and serves as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and be trusted business advice with deep understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system. Focuses on understanding and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. Utilizes business and industry knowledge, business processes and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions with the goal of achieving client expectations. Primary goals include: Strategic Solution Focus: Working across technical design, development, and implementation of solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs. Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy and / or solution development and solution implementation, leveraging knowledge of this area and working with the latest technologies. Collaboration and Team Building: Embody core values while delivering project goals in order to build trust with clients and team members, with an emphasis on knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.

Requirements

Experienced SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) professional.
Deep exposure to the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP RAR (FI-RA).
Knowledge of revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
Solid understanding of A&D-specific contract structures (long-term programs, cost-plus and fixed-price contracts, percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting, government contracting nuances (FAR/DFARS)).
Experience supporting implementation, optimization, and ongoing operations of SAP RAR within complex, program-based revenue environments.
Techno-functional solution expertise.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
