About The Position

Stand Out For Good, Inc. is seeking an SAP Product Owner to join their IT Development Team. This role is accountable for the SAP platform that enables core capabilities for the Procure to Pay Process, specifically within CAR (Merchandising, Merchandise Planning and Allocation), WM, and MM modules. The primary focus will be on leveraging SAP's capabilities to maximize stakeholder adoption, execute the product roadmap, drive innovation, and ensure the user experience aligns with IT and business strategies and requirements. This is a functional role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years functional experience with SAP S/4HANA product across the core process of the Procure to Pay processes of CAR (Merchandising, Merchandise Planning and Allocation, OAA), WM and MM.
  • 2-3+ years of Product Ownership or similar role experience in delivery, leading technical teams and achieving timely and effective results through others.
  • Ability to select and integrate the most appropriate technologies to support the business.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and build strong partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive solutions.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiating skills with internal customers and external service providers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, communicate the IT vision and strategy, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure the best performance and financial return.
  • Proven ability to build trust with others through a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • BS/BA degree required in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the SAP Platform to fully utilize all capabilities in alignment with business partners and IT strategies.
  • Identifying and developing opportunities to leverage SAP platform capabilities, creating long-term value to achieve customer business objectives.
  • Mapping end-to-end business processes to solution capabilities and coordinating with other Product Owners.
  • Owning and maintaining a capability catalog for the Back Office Systems Capability Group.
  • Executing against the IT Roadmap for the Back Office scope.
  • Proactively communicating the Back Office capability roadmap and IT strategies to all key stakeholders and other IT CoE’s.
  • Building and maintaining effective, collaborative, credible working relationships and active communication with stakeholders.
  • Serving as the conduit of information between different teams, responding to stakeholder questions.
  • Validating and signing off on new solution delivery for projects and enhancements, ensuring validation against business requirements.
  • Delivering solutions and automation with a focus on enhancing customer experience and efficiency.
  • Maximizing the use of available tools and applications to deliver business value, including application rationalization.
  • Managing the supportability of solutions, including the integrity of the upgrade path.
  • Owning day-to-day relationships and building strong partnerships with SAP and other vendors.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of product roadmaps, industry best practices, and emerging innovations within the SAP Platform and applying them to the company’s business goals.
  • Executing on projects by building consensus among stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project tactics with strategy, and communicating project goals at a strategic level.
  • Handling capability management on projects, but not day-to-day schedule or financial management.
  • Operating with an 'All For One' approach to achieving priorities.
