About The Position

Pioneer is seeking a SAP Business Process Lead to own the Product Lifecycle Management workstream on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This is a business-first role focused on business outcomes rather than technical scope. The lead will guide the PLM workstream’s process transformation, facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, resolve dependencies across workstreams, and maintain process integrity through design, build, and deployment. The engagement is a remote 1099 independent contractor role, with some travel to client sites potentially required monthly or quarterly. Pay is $115–$130 per hour. The position is not eligible for Pioneer benefits.

Requirements

Deep business process design experience, primarily within SAP, combined with a strong understanding of underlying business operations independent of the tool.
Experience implementing SAP as a business-led initiative in which process design drives system design.
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management functionality, including bill of material and product structure management; product formulation and recipe development; specification and product data management; engineering/product change management; new product introduction and commercialization; packaging and artwork management; and regulatory compliance and sustainability.
Ability to work backward from SAP PLM functionality to define the business processes, master data, and inputs required to drive it.
Past experience creating business process flows.

Experience creating business process flows following BPMN standards.
