About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP PO Interface Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite to join our SAP integration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless business process execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of related professional experience OR 10+ years of related professional experience if no Bachelor's
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP PO/PI interface development and configuration
  • Proven experience with SAP Integration Suite (especially Cloud Integration and API Management)
  • Strong understanding of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, JDBC)
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and Groovy scripting
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud-based integration architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment
  • Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh and Business Rules
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Certification in SAP Integration Suite or SAP PO is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
  • Design end-to-end interface architectures for SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for integration patterns and security standards.
  • Develop and configure interfaces using SAP Process Orchestration (PO) components (Enterprise Service Repository, Integration Directory)
  • Implement mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT, Groovy) and adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, File, ODATA).
  • Utilize SAP Integration Suite capabilities (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh) for cloud and hybrid scenarios.
  • Close collaboration with the external data center provider
  • Monitor integration processes and resolve errors by using the monitoring and logging capabilities within the NWA.
  • Perform root cause analysis and optimize performance of interfaces.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including transport and user management, and manage updates and patches
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for integration-related incidents.
  • Prepare technical specifications and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
