SAP PCS (Production Control & Scheduling)
About The Position
This role requires extensive experience in SAP Production Control & Scheduling (PCS), specifically within the Aerospace & Defense industry and Discrete Manufacturing. The consultant will be responsible for requirement gathering, configuration, documentation, and testing of SAP solutions, focusing on best practices for MBoM, Routing, and Shop Floor Execution. Experience with S/4HANA and its related functionalities like Parameter Effectivity, MRP, Scheduling, and Costing is crucial. The position involves close collaboration with business process owners and the creation of functional specifications.
Requirements
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience
- Discrete Manufacturing experience
- SAP PCS (Production Control & Scheduling) expertise
- 15+ years of SAP PP/PCS experience
- Experience with MBoM, Routing and Shop Floor Execution’s SAP Best Practice
- Experience with S/4HANA
- Experience with Parameter Effectivity (integration to PLM and MES)
- Experience with Classification, MRP, Scheduling and Costing views of the Material Masters
- Experience with Work Centers, BoMs and Routings – Revision & ECM
- Experience with Production Order Lifecycle (Creation to Confirmation to Goods Receipt) incl. Collective Orders for MTS and MTO with WBS
- Experience with External Processing wit Subcontracting
- Experience with Production Order Kitting
- Experience with Goods Issues (batch managed) and Reversals for Production Order
- Experience with Rework and Production Order Splitting
- Experience with Availability Checking and Shortage reporting
- Experience with Integration to PLM systems
- Experience with Integration to MES systems
- Functional specification authoring skills
