About The Position

Provide administrative assistance and support for Manufacturing Operations. This assistance includes facilitating daily office procedures, SAP updates and reconciliations, and overseeing office supply inventories. Compiling data to complete required reports. Draft, edit, and complete various types of correspondence, both internal and external. Maintain files. Coordinate respective activities with other supervisors and employees. Responsible for other projects and assignments, as required. Overall, present a consistently helpful and positive demeanor while performing these responsibilities.

Requirements

  • SAP Experience required.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to take coaching well and communicates respectfully with others.
  • Promote positive teamwork culture.
  • Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with team and during shift transition.
  • Knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.
  • Frequent sitting.
  • Frequent typing/keyboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support for Plant Operations, including being in tune with production objectives, reporting requirements, and other expectations.
  • Support Operations by maintaining effective administrative systems and procedures, including correspondence, filing systems, monitoring inventories, e-mail and voice communications, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Assure working knowledge of applicable aspects of the SAP system, particularly as it relates to material transactions, and maintain system updates for accurate production documentation and reporting.
  • Gather, compile, and organize information and data to accurately complete required reports for Operations, including regular and Ad Hoc reports.
  • Handle data entry pertaining to production, shipping receipts, material transactions within the SAP system, and other production-related information.
  • Communicate routinely via correspondence, drafting letters, memos, narrative reports, and/or summaries.
  • Coordinate with other facility Operations’ supervisors, managers, and employees, and become familiar with other administrative support staffs to facilitate communication.
  • Administer 'best practices' to ensure the Operations group is well informed about all matters pertaining to daily operations and keep Management notified of any items requiring immediate attention.
  • Triage other items for attention based on importance and timeframes, determine priorities, and act accordingly.
  • Administer other projects and assignments as directed, remaining flexible about changes in workload and time commitments.
