About The Position

We are looking for an SAP HCM software tester for an ECC to S/4 migration project with experience collaborating closely with developers to test and remediate defects in the next evolution of their SAP solutions. As a Tester, you will be helping us understand business needs, assess the quality of developed software, track defects, and work with the software testing and development teams to remediate defects and ensure that we deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Experienced tester: You have 4+ years of experience in SAP software testing across UAT, SIT, and regression testing in SAP environments (e.g., Fiori, SAP GUI). You are experienced in conducting test scripts, documenting defects, and working with development teams to reproduce and remediate defects.
  • You have experience with the SAP HCM module.
  • Problem solver: You have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Context-driven: You have a strong ability to effectively review and understand business and functional requirements, as well as understand the software being tested.
  • Team player: You effectively partner with others to get things done.
  • Clear communicator: You are an excellent writer and excel at capturing and communicating complex information into simple messaging.
  • Outcomes driven: You're able to work independently to execute structured manual testing and defect recording, as well as ad hoc testing to dig into scenarios and understand what's not working.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of test automation is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of test scripts, test cases, design changes, and other types of documentation, such as end-to-end process testing for delta design changes and Fiori apps changes.
  • Execute manual testing (e.g., UAT, SIT, regression testing) and other testing as required.
  • Develop documentation to track defects, identifying potential issues and the steps to reproduce them.
  • Communicate with your software testing team and development the nature of defects and work with developers to remediate them.
