About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP GTS Functional Lead (SAP GTS S/4HANA Edition) position for our client. This is an 8-month contract role located in Columbia, SC, with the requirement to travel up to 50% to Iron Mountain, MI; Des Moines, IA; and Cuba, MO. The role involves leading the functional design and implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), edition for SAP HANA, guiding business stakeholders through Fit-to-Standard workshops, and defining end-to-end trade compliance processes. The position requires configuring GTS processes and objects, leading integration with SAP S/4HANA modules and external systems, developing and executing testing strategies, supporting data migration, providing user enablement, and establishing audit-ready controls.

• Global trade compliance and customs processes
• Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening and embargo controls
• Product classification, HS/HTS, export controls, and preference determination
• Import/export customs management and license management
• SAP S/4HANA SD/MM integration
• EWM/TM integration
• Fit-to-Standard workshops, functional configuration, and process design
• Unit, SIT, and UAT testing
• Data migration and user enablement
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP GTS, preferably GTS edition for SAP HANA.
• Experience translating global trade, customs, and compliance requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Experience integrating GTS with SAP S/4HANA and external customs brokers/content providers.
• Strong experience leading business workshops, functional design, testing, migration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to designated client locations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), edition for SAP HANA.
• Guide business stakeholders through Fit-to-Standard workshops and define end-to-end trade compliance processes across Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.
• Design and configure GTS processes including sanctioned party screening, embargo/legal control, license determination and usage, product classification, preference determination, and import/export customs management.
• Configure GTS objects including legal regulations, control classes, business partners, document types, SPL screening, license procedures, and determination strategies.
• Lead integration with SAP S/4HANA SD/MM, EWM/TM, and external customs brokers and trade content providers.
• Develop and execute functional testing strategies, including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
• Support data migration for business partners, ship-to data, product classifications, licenses, and preference data.
• Provide user enablement and support adoption of GTS processes and controls.
• Establish audit-ready controls for trade compliance, recordkeeping, electronic archives, and dual-use requirements.
