About The Position

Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional SAP specifications. Analyze, configure, and support SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, or others depending on business area). Participate in system enhancements, testing cycles, integrations, and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal business disruption. Document functional requirements, process flows, test cases, and configuration changes. Support end‑users through training, job aids, and ongoing process guidance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize processes and improve system performance. Assist in evaluating new SAP capabilities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD/DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • FOUR (4) + years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar functional role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes (finance, procurement, supply chain, sales, or relevant domain).
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, create documentation, and perform user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working in structured project environments (Agile preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to commute to Guidehouse and client offices in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with S/4HANA/Financial environments or migration projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications.
  • Exposure to integration tools, data migration, or testing automation.
  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.
  • Experience in change management or process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Prior consulting, shared services, or multi‑business‑unit support experience.
